Al Qudra lakes Dubai

Our base in the weekend! We just have to follow the D63 out of Mira towards the Al Qudra Cycling Track and onto the Last Exit. The man-made Al Qudra lakes (2015) are close to Love Lake, and located in the middle of the Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve, a conservation area in Dubai's Saih Al Salam Desert on Dubai’s southern outskirts. Here you can spot plenty of free-roaming wildlife, more than 100 species of birds and several desert plants. Behind the lakes are wide open dunes where you can have a lovely picnic, launch a kite or run and slide from the dunes. The Love Lake is the latest addition (2018). We have been here many times, also with friends and family (you see some of them at the pics).
