Inside Burj Al Arab

Quite recently, the Jumeirah group offers 'Inside Burj Al Arab' tours. And just as the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel had opened its doors, we were at the front line to book this tour. And yes, it was worth it because it's a great, extensive tour! Burj Al Arab means 'Tower of the Arabs' and it is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, ranked with seven stars. And honestly, who can leave Dubai without actually staying at this striking hotel... even if it's for a short visit?

Operated by the Jumeirah hotel group, it is one of the tallest hotels in the world. Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island and is connected to the mainland by a curved private bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to resemble the sail of a ship. It has a helipad near the roof, at a height of 210m above the ground.

What did we see?

The tour starts at the ticket lounge in Jumeirah Beach hotel, where we were welcomed with a fresh glass of juice. Then we went to the Burj by golf cart, which is a nice trip in itself. Once inside, you will be given a refreshing washcloth to freshen up. There are some benches to relax and take in all the bling bling. Soon the guide arrived to take us into the hotel. The tour consists of 2 parts, the first part shows some exclusive parts of Burj Al Arab, and we were able to see inside some of the suites. The second part is a self-guided tour, including the history and iconic moments that took place in Burj Al Arab. The tour ends with Arabian coffee and (lovely) dates. We booked the tour as a family with grandparents, and we all loved it! Very recommended!
