Souk Madinat Jumeirah, March 26 2019

Souk Madinat is an Arabian bazaar, where you can shop, dine, have a coffee, relax or take an abra over an artificial man-made waterway, against the beautiful backdrop of the iconic Burj Al Arab. It openend in 2004. The stalls offer spices, bags, fabrics, souvenirs, slippers, locally made jewelry and much more. The souk is decorated in the old Arabian style with many lanterns and carved wood. It is like you step into the shopping culture of a traditional Middle Eastern marketplace. I went here with my family Corry and Peter, and we had a wonderful lunch in an Italian restaurant.
