Sandy Beach Hotel & Resort Fujairah

Snoopy Island, named after the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz, is a wonderful place where you can snorkel and see many different fish, turtles, reef sharks, etc. We have been here many times by ourselves, but also with family and friends. We often stayed at the associated resort, Sandy Beach Hotel & Resort, which is a quite outdated resort, but due to its unique location we always had to pay too much for a room or bungalow :-( Nevertheless, we had wonderful weekends here. 

The official name of the island is Alaqqah Island, but popularly everyone calls it Snoopy Island: the rock where you can snorkel around, looks like Snoopy, lying on his back in de water.
