The World Expo 2020 

The Expo2020 World Exhibition is being organized for the 35th time and more than 200 countries and organizations participate. The central theme is 'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future'. This slogan is supported by three sub-themes/districts: opportunity, mobility & sustainability. At the start of the Expo2020, we bought a season pass, so we visit(ed) the Expo many times. See below, pictures of several pavillions and the showcase of The Netherlands. 

The Dutch Pavillion

The showcase of the Netherlands  at the Expo is how water can be made, energy is generated and food is harvested, in other words how a circular climate system can been created. The visitor experience ends with a real waterfall of rain coming form a rain machine. In this way, the Netherlands shows that it can not only stop the water in the event of a flood, but also generate it. Clever people over there, in The Netherlands ;-)
