View at The Palm

Another beautiful 'must do' in Dubai, the View at the Palm. The journey begins with a walk through an aquarium tunnel, followed by a video explaining the history of The Palm and an exhibition showcasing the highlights of The Palm and Dubai. We found it very interesting to hear that the Palm was first designed as a circle, then as a sun and finally as a palm. An elevator took us to the 52nd floor and took us to a 360 degree observation deck at an altitude of 240 meters. The platform offers fantastic views around the Palm and we were able to see all the highlights of Dubai: Atlantis, Burj al Arab, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina, Bluewaters. Better than the view from the Burj Khalifa!! The entrance to The View at the Palm can be found in Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah.
