Crescent Moon Lake Dubai

Lately, we found this new spot in the desert. It is direction Bab al Shams Resort and then you need to get off road into the desert following the coordinates to this cute lake in the middle of nowhere. Actually it is a drinking area for wildlife, and typical Dubai (UAE), they have made something special out of it, a (little) lake in the shape of a half moon. The drone footage is made by Dinand. 

Wildlife

It is quite a rough drive to this lake (4x4 needed), but once there, it is worth it, as it is a serene place and we spotted quite a bit of wildlife, such as the Arabian oryx and other deer. Dinand made some beautiful pictures with his drone. After this we decided to go back a bit closer to the main road (as Lieke gets a bit hysterical when it is getting dark in the desert ;-) and have some sundowners there.
