JA Palm Tree Court Resort Dubai

Easter weekend 2021 and.... my very special B-day ;-) We had a very relaxing weekend in this resort that is situated at The Palm Jebel Ali. The resort is beautifully landscaped (green!), with several swimming pools and sports facilities, nine restaurants and bars, a harbor, golf course and a beautiful beach. 

Unfinished Palm Jebel Ali

From the resort you have a view of The Palm Jebel Ali, which is a bit spooky because it was never finished. Apparently the Dutch company Van Oord, which dredged and reclaimed the island with all its leaves (like they did the Palm Jumeirah, which is completely finished), was no longer paid, and then they 'pulled the plug'. The result is that from this resort you look out on an unfinished palm island, where the columns are already standing for the flyover leading to nowhere.

And there 'she' was... the BIG 50. In The Netherlands it means, that you have seen "Sarah" (men will see "Abraham" when they turn 50). Valentijn and the kids prepared so many nice surprises and presents for me, it was lovely. Family and friends made a congratulations video for me, which was really touching.
