Seven Summits Trail Fujairah and Fort Fujairah

Seven Summits and seven forts

We started the day (early) with an easy warming up: The Seven Summits trail of 1,9 km that starts at the Big flag Park in Fujairah. The trail contains seven summits and at each summit, there is a fort. The seven forts represent the seven Emirates of the UAE. After this cute hiking route, we went for an early lunch in Fujairah City Centre. 

Fort Fujairah

After lunch, we drove to Fort Fujairah, which is located in the (capital) city of Fujairah and dating back to the 16th century (1500-1550). It is one of the oldest and largest castles in the country. We couldn't have a look inside, so we walked around the fort and made some pictures. It is also a cool location to host events here. Our last stop for today is Wadi Shawka (see another webpage).
