Desert Safari: Dune bashing & Arabian Heritage night

When we arrived in Dubai, one of the first things we wanted to do, was experiencing the immense desert. In the beginning we didn't have our own 4x4 car and clearly had no desert driving experience. At that point, we thought it would be the best way to book a desert safari, accompanied by an experienced guide! We really liked that concept, because we were picked up at home and could share a large car with our friends (another family). The tour lasted approximately 6 hours from pick up to return home.

The tour included: dune bashing with a 4x4 vehicle, a meet & greet with the camels (petting, feeding, riding), a falcon experience, sand boarding, and of course joining an Arabic Heritage & Bedouin evening in a 1001 night fairytale-setting with shows, henna tattoo painting, shisha and delicious food (BBQ; 3 cuisines). Nowadays, we have our own 4x4, so we organise desert and camping trips by ourselves.
