Louvre Abu Dhabi

Of course, we couldn't miss a visit to the breathtaking Louvre Abu Dhabi, “the most visited museum in the Arab world”. This art museum is located on Saadiyat Island (in the Cultural District) and has become a real landmark with its spectacular architecture. We were amazed by the beautiful light in the courtyard of the museum.

Tip: The museum is recently added to a maritime route, making it now also accessible by boat (water taxi)! ..... just a lovely day-trip. 

Architectural beauty

The building is an architectural beauty and it provides magical light everywhere. Even though we were here in June (so let's say 40+ degrees), it was cool and pleasant. You can easily spend half a day here, there is so much to see and discover, even for the children! Also take a break with a cup of coffee and a snack and enjoy the view from the restaurant of the Persian Gulf. Recommended!
