Dubai Frame 

The Frame is truly an architectural landmark for Dubai. It holds the record for the largest picture frame in the world. Participants from all over the world were invited to submit an emblem that would promote “the new face for Dubai". Fernando Donis won the competition out of 926 proposals. Donis sees Dubai as a city full of emblems and rather than adding another one, he proposed to frame them all: to frame the city. The Dubai Frame is about 150 meter high and 95 meter wide. 

We framed it: the past, current and future

The building continuously frame the development of the past, current and future Dubai. When you enter the building, you start with the past of Dubai. Then, by taking the elevator up, you will find yourself in the present of Dubai. At the end of the tour, you will get to see the future of Dubai. The Dubai Frame is positioned in such a way that representative landmarks of modern Dubai can be seen on one side, while from the other side, visitors can also view older parts of the city.

We finished the trip with a snack and drink at a food stall in the garden of The Frame.
